Nigel Sielegar is a designer/entrepreneur currently working in New York City, and an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts. He is the founder of Corse Design Factory, a design firm with a boundless interest in the many facets of design disciplines. Corse’s clients range from small companies and non-profit organizations to large international corporations.
An internationally recognized award-winning designer, Nigel has juried design competitions including The Young Ones Student Awards by The One Club for Creativity, as well as the YCN Award based in London. Nigel is a recipient of multiple Certificate of Typographic Excellence from the Type Directors Club in New York, Communication Arts excellence in design award, and Print typography and lettering awards among others. His work has been exhibited prestigious exhibitions in Shanghai China, Mainz Germany, Bangkok Creative Festival, and more than 50 other countries around the world. His designs have also been featured on numerous design blogs, press, and publications nationally and internationally.
As an entrepreneur, Nigel also a co-founder of MORRA, a designer-friendly web and app development firm based in Indonesia, also a co-founder of Novel Objects, a product photography studio based in New York City. He is also the founder of Moon Man, a highly praised dessert shop serving Southeast Asian snacks and desserts, the co-founder of Bold Munchies, a company with a mission to redefine healthy snacks, and Partners at Sea Monster, which mission is to introduce NYC to Southeast Asian style grilled seafood culture. As an educator, outside of being an adjunct professor at SVA, Nigel is a seasoned speaker that has hosted design lectures and workshops internationally.
